No plans tonight? Bored at home alone? Traveling in a new city? Welcome to Blast: your favorite spontaneous event finder.

Unlike other event apps, we don't have rigid groups or labels. We don't care if you're a "gamer" or an "athlete." We cater to the modern individual who just wants to find a barhop buddy or some cool people to go eat with. And we are fast: all events shown are happening within 12 hours.

Broaden your social life. Meet new people. No planning, no foresight, no strings attached. Blast it!

Using Blast

Time to start the fun. After signing in with Facebook, the main page diplays events (called Blasts) happening near you.
Interested? Tap on a Blast from the main page to view details and join in on the fun!
Nothing interesting? Be a leader and announce your own event! Tap the + button on the main page to make your own Blast.
What a busy-body! Tap the hamburger in the top left of the main page to view Blasts you are attending or have created.


Understanding the System

Simple, quick, and easy. We want Blast to encourage spontaneous experiences. Our app centers around the main page, where you can view events happening around you. From there, our workflow is simple. All from the main screen, you can do the following:

(1) Explore: Tap on an intriguing event to get more details and add yourself as a guest.

(2) Create: Create an event by completing the provided form.

(3) Check: Check events you have created to modify or cancel them, and/or check events you are attending to view updates or leave them.

That's all there is to it!
